Our Expertise
Carbon steels and alloy steels offer excellent mechanical properties but have a strong tendency to react with atmospheric elements, particularly oxides and salts present in the air.

Without proper protection, any product made from these materials is prone to chemical attack, quickly becoming covered in rust.

As this process progresses, it leads to complete corrosion of the product and the total loss of its functionality.

Zinc and Zinc-Nickel Electroplated Coatings

These coatings are applied through an electroplating process in which a layer of zinc or zinc-nickel alloy is deposited onto metal components to provide corrosion protection.

Zinc Flake Coatings – GEOMET® / DELTAPROTEKT®

Zinc flake coatings (GEOMET® or DELTAPROTEKT®) are composed of thin layers of zinc and zinc-based alloys. Their lamellar structure offers outstanding corrosion protection without affecting component dimensions.

 

High corrosion resistance in aggressive environments (e.g., chloride exposure)
Suitable for screws, bolts, nuts, and other fastening parts
Complies with environmental standards (free from hexavalent chromium)
Widely used in the automotive industry and for components requiring long durability and weather resistance
 
Hot-Dip Galvanized Zinc Coatings

Hot-dip galvanizing involves immersing components in a bath of molten zinc, creating a thicker and more robust coating compared to electroplating. This treatment is particularly effective for corrosion protection in outdoor and industrial environments.
